Explain your BIG IdeaThe ImagineIT project is about implementing a BIG idea throughout an entire year in order to increase your teaching and your students learning. ImagineIT takes your classroom to the next level via your BIG idea.
My BIG idea is: failure makes success. I wondered what would happen if everybody recognized and embraced our failures as necessary steps towards success. This includes even the small failures leading to mid-course corrections during creation. Failing forward is a life and engineering skill. IImagine if everyone was excited to learn from their failures and felt like the failure was a success in learning. I mean “Life is a journey not a destination” (Ralph Waldo Emerson). Failure is good. Failure is a teacher. “The most successful people fail the most” (Business Insider). |
Big Idea: Failure Makes Success
All my I-image graphics contain a little bit of humor and everyday objects. The cat only has to get to the cupcake once but it does not matter how many times he fails as long as he keeps trying. The cookie will give you a good fortune but first you have to break a few because, as we all know, the good fortune never comes in the first cookie. Lastly, the weeble toy graphic emphasizes how people could bounce up after failing.

My I-video contains many successful people and how they all came to get there despite their failures.
